This past spring, PHA raised the chapter quotas for all sororities which means the number of girls each house is supposed to have was increased. When this happened, only two sororities met the new number. All the other chapters participated in spring recruitment (keep in mind this was more giving bids to girls that members already knew as opposed to a formal recruitment). Now that most chapters are at quota and will probably remain that way after fall recruitment, most will not be doing spring bids. As in years past, it will probably be weaker recruiting chapters only in the spring.
