You've got your heart in the right place. Don't stress about rush, as long as you are friendly I'm sure you will do fine. If you are interested in any fraternities specifically I would highly suggest getting in contact with their rush chairs and asking if they have any recruitment events during the summer or at the beginning off the year. Try and stay on row unless you have off row ties to someone you are close to or something. Good luck.
