Depends on the sorority. I transferred into a top tier and it was difficult to get involved and get to know the girls because there was just SO many of them. The best advice I can give you is as long as you have grades and maybe 1 or 2 girls who could vouch for you, you should be fine. If you do get approved to reaffiliate, get involved and take up a position as soon as possible. It’s the best way to meet the girls and have people get to know you. It was tough, but I’d say finally after three years I have a good group of girls in my sorority and I’ve gained a lot of experience to boost my resume by getting involved. Best of luck!
