I was offered a snap bid and did not take it at one point in my college career. I have friends who accepted snap bids and still dropped. A snap bid is not a for sure thing. If a sorority wanted the pnm and new the pnm wanted her they wouldn’t drop her. There is also no for sure thing with formal bidding. Girls do not have to accept them so it’s not like a way of tricking girls into joining. It’s just an invitation to join either way. There is no harm in either form of bid.
