Stumbled upon this site. Thought I would give an alumni's view of Greeks. Sororities: Top: Alpha Delta Pi & Kappa Delta These two continue to get top girls and have very strong alumni support. Middle: Phi Mu & Zeta They both have solid track records, but their quality is all over the place and have some very strange alumni. Bottom: AOPi They have not always been the best, but have some good younger alumni. Basement: KKG, ChiO, and DPhiE Kappa has struggled at times. Their alumni tend to focus on the wrong things. ChiO should move up quick. Very good alumni and great name. I know nothing about DPhiE. Fraternities: Top: Kappa Sig; Sigma Chi; Kappa Alpha Kappa Sig and Sigma Chi have been top since the 60's. Two very different fraternities. Kappa Sig had a dip in the 90's and Sigma Chi had a dip in the 2000's. Kappa Alpha has always been smaller and pulled rural guys. All three have very strong alumni support. Middle: PiKapp and Sigma Nu Pi Kap is a roller coaster. They have stayed relevant due to their alumni. Sigma Nu has always been a mid tier fraternity. They pull random good guys and have very active alumni. I think their biggest problem is they have 5000 alumni on their board. Bottom: ATO, SAE, and DTD ATO is always a mess. Worst alumni support on the row. SAE feeds off the good names of their chapters in Athens and Atlanta. DTD are nice guys that want to get better. Sound alumni support.
