This could vary. Many chapters have seniors that leave/ girls that drop. If their nationals make them do COB then they might have invite only. Some chapters just wait until fall so they can have a "bigger pledge class" by making up those spots. It depends on their nationals. Some chapters do a publicized rush. Then their are other greek groups that are not NPC. Some are selective, so aren't. Advice: if you got dropped: work on your grades or reputation. I would not be worried about spring. If you dropped a house: they know who you are so don't expect them to take you. They offered you a round invite or bid that you didn't take. They wanted to be your sister but you turned it down bc you were "too good" for them. Most chapters don't want to be your sloppy seconds or thirds. Don't expect to be apart of greek life now unless you join a non-npc
