It takes time to get a true connection in a group. You are not friends automatically with all your sisters just because you got a bid. Try someone different, and keep trying until you DO connect. I agree with the previous poster that your roommate was rude. You could tell her that in a diplomatic way how it made you feel, or how about ask her to let you tag along the next time they grab lunch off campus.
