You're absolutely full of it. Although you're only technically required to have a 3.0 to apply, the chances of getting admitted with anything less than a 3.5 and hours of volunteer work is slim to none. My roommate was passed over the first time she applied with a 3.6 GPA and weekly hours at Boone. There's no way they'd allow someone with a 3.0 into the program when they're wait-listing more qualified candidates.
