I will pass along the best advice anyone ever gave me when I was in a quandary about something. Here it is: Why WOULDN'T you give rush a chance? You're in college and college is all about trying new things and growing as a person. Even if you don't do well in rush, you will have gained valuable experience and will learn something about yourself. I'd say go for it, because it can't hurt and it might be great. But you never know unless you try.
