My chapter would eliminate you because of grades, but that doesn't mean every house would. Also, how difficult was your high school, how many AP classes did you take, what was your ACT score. Those are all factors, too. For my house it's not enough to be "fairly involved" in high school. We look for elected positions or someone who is a standout athletically at the state level or higher. I'm not saying this to be insulting, I just think it's best if you adjust your expectations accordingly. We have many fine houses here at all levels and if you go into rush with an open mind and ask yourself if you could find a home in a variety of houses, you might do just fine. Chance are you can find great friendship anywhere.
