I've been thinking about this and have come up with a theory. To me, it seems the best house isn't really about competitions or grades or decorations or socials or any of that quantifiable stuff. Rather, i think the most wanted house is really about who WE want to be, or who we want to be like. I think many PNMs would like to be the pretty, popular girl, so they would choose DDD as their too choice. Other girls would want to be the well-rounded, involved girl who has it all together, so they would choose XO. Still others want to be the cool girl with great grades and an air of confidence, so they would choose PiPhi. So it's not as much about the house as it is about who we wish we were. And we think that by being chosen by a certain top house, that helps affirm that we are on our way.
