Because we're all so good at math, just a note that 3.443 - 3.130 = .313 While it depends what you want your statistical sureness to be, I would guess that with chapters about 300 members in size there is no significant difference between a sorority and one place above or below it, but there almost certainly is a significant difference between the top third and the bottom. If you don't believe this, look over the years and see how chapters tend to clump in similar spots. There is a true difference in grades between the chapters.
