I agree that tons of confident girls join sororities for sisterhood. Most of us, actually. But the thing is you don't know how that sisterhood thing will work out until you're a member. You don't choose a house because of "sisterhood" because you are not yet a "sister" and won't know how you'll fit in. So, absent that knowledge, you have to choose a house based on its reputation and how comfortable you feel during rush -- and whether you make a connection. So it's pretty unrealistic to say sisterhood is most important when every pledge class is different and how well its members mesh is totally out of anyone's control.
