Ps the journalism major commented twenty times more. She replied to every single comment that told her the j school here wasn't that hard to get into. Which its not. More than half the students who apply get accepted. And the ones who don't can appeal and still get accepted later. In the end mostly everyone who wants to gets in. The nursing school actually is pretty tough to get into. They only accept a certain number (a little over 100 is it per year?) and there's tons of applicants. I'm not saying it's better or the best thing ever okay? But yeah they don't have as much room to just let everyone in at some point like journalism. They don't have enough faculty, lab room, etc. They can't. You can apply twice and if you don't get in you dont get a nursing degree from mizzou. So, although perhaps not as renown as the j school, they are more selective yes.
