I think it's because for some reason a small percentage of people think that the sorority tiers have suddenly changed and if you dare to suggest that they haven't (which they haven't) then you're labeled as an "alum" haha. Tiers take years and years, if not upwards of a decade to change. 1-2 really bad or 1-2 really good freshman PCs won't make or break a house, and neither will winning Greek week or homecoming or getting bad/good grades a semester or two in a row. Reputations take years to change and so do tiers. People are just getting really ahead of themselves. If you ask anyone older, a real alum lol, they'll tell you that 10 years ago the houses' reputations were very similar to what they are now. Unless there's some huge scandal or something of the sort, a chapter usually does not drastically change. That's all.
