I'm from out of state and so were many of the girls from my Pi chi group, and none of us waned GPhi as our first choice. Many people had told me about GPhi but I wanted to keep an open mind, but I didn't connect with anyone in GPhi and many of the girls in my Pi chi group felt the same. One of those girls became my sisters (I'm an ADPi) and a lot of the other girls became Pi Phi's, Kappa's, and DGs. Not everyone is fooled during rush, in fact many girls aren't. GPhi has allure because they are pretty and girls want to be associated with it but other than that there isn't a connection there
