Thanks for this, OK. You said it more eloquently than I could. I went to Mizzou because it is a great school for my major, has a beautiful campus and a terrific greek system. But also because it is 600 miles away from my mother. I finally can live my life and I am doing a pretty good job of it: with a 3.92 gpa, amazing friends in my pledge class and a great guy to date. Meanwhile, my mother is back at home, still wearing UGGS and yoga pants and controlling every move my little sister makes. SO happy to here. And if my mother is reading this (and I wouldn't be surprised if she is), I don't care because she is the one who needs to grow up.
