Dear Freshman Mom, I am also a mom. I am here because I am involved in greek life on this campus as an advisor. I know your heart is in the right place, but please, you need to walk away from this site. It will do you no good and will only reinforce any qualms or concerns you may have. This is not the place to find comfort. This is not the place to get any kind of realistic opinions about anything. Take the advice given to you by some peers of your daughter above. Give her the tools she needs to be successful, but let her choose to do what she will with those tools. She needs to mature, to learn, and to grow now. If she makes mistakes, you'll be there to help her, but you can't prevent all the mistakes and you definitely cannot cure them after the fact. Just be her support system, not her control system.
