I don't sympathize with girls who drop because the houses they have left don't fit their desired tier. However, there are other reasons girls drop. 1. Overwhelmed by recruitment in general. To someone who is unfamiliar with Greek Life recruitment can be a big surprise and is much more stressful/consuming than many PNM's assume 2. Maybe they genuinely didn't connect with the girls in the remaining houses, irregardless of tiers 3. The songs/doorchants/coordination(conformity) scare a lot of girls 4. Dropped by most houses because of grades and want to improve then give it another shot 5. Don't realize how time consuming Greek life can be. The list goes on. Don't be so quick to judge girls who drop. If a girl gets towards the end and realizes she wouldn't be excited to open her bid card I don't blame her for dropping especially if it gives a girl who will be overjoyed an opportunity to pledge.
