1. This person does not have the real numbers and is just spreading rumors. 2. You are also spreading rumors and should not comment on things you aren't an authority on-> "they" are not trying to lower the quota number. MIzzou is a RFM campus which means the computer system is designed to maximize the number of houses making quota and the number of PNM's getting bids. Quota is not set until after pref and it is the number of girls signing pref cards divided by the number of houses on campus. 3. Cuts have NOT been worse this year. RFM tells each house how many girls to invite back each day. This means that strong recruiting chapters release more girls earlier so that they can spend more time at the average and weak recruiting chapters. This allows PNM's to not spend all weak dreaming of a top tier bid when that house was never going to bid them. This is a GOOD system and allows PNM's to spend more time at the houses they legit have a chance to join. Even top houses drop "perfect" girls as OP said because 1) they aren't allowed to invite back everyone the like if that's over their daily # allowed and 2) "perfect" girls aren't a good fit for every single house, personality wise. There also can be legacy or other factors at play that OP is unaware of.
