If a house releases you, you will not get a snap bid. In the event a house needs to snap bid (VERY RARE for most chapters), they do not go back to PMs they have released. They may go back to a PM who regretted them earlier in the process but not to someone they already released. I am sure there have been exceptions to this but that is the rule of thumb. Please do not drop out of formal recruitment thinking you can get into one of your top choices via a snap bid.
