There are so many people on this site lecturing us to give every house a chance, and I get that. But there also are people who say go with your gut and you will just know what's right for you. If I go with my gut and I look around the room and am not feeling it or if I have one awkward conversation too many, I will give up, bow out and let someone else take my spot on bid day. I don't want to spend all of that money and all of that time just so I can say I'm Greek. I want to be happy and proud of my letters and if it comes to the point where I don't think that will happen, adios. I don't need Greek letters on my chest to feel important.
