Angry PNM (idk though your same arguments appear in most racially centered posts, so I think you're just trolling) I feel like you'll have a hard time when you join a chapter because you're making race a bigger issue than it is. You're about to join a large sisterhood, so if you keep on focusing on being the lonely minority how will you ever feel at home with your sisters? The facts are this: not many minorities rush and there are many reasons as to why, but one of them certainly isn't instituitionalized racism, mizzou PHA's diversity (check out your Pi Chi's) proves it. From your perspective I know it's hard feeling like the odd one out, but these women see the content of your personality what really matters, I know it seems intimidating but in order to get best out this process you have to ignore the adversity and put your best foot forward and smile. Be offended if you want ( idk how you would, i'm sure you'd surprise me) but what I say is the truth. I sincerely hope you find your home, and you feel the love of sisterhood.
