Commitment is pretty much the purpose of joining a sorority. If you don't want a lot of commitment, then whey sign up in the first place? Every house is going to expect you to go to chapter meetings each week. Every house is going to expect you to go to additional new member meetings each week. Every house is going to expect you to participate in mandatory activities. Every house is probably going to have a fine system in place if you fail to attend certain things. Every house is going to expect you to spend so many hours pomping, participating in philanthropy, attending other sorority and fraternity events on campus, etc. Being in a sorority is a commitment. There is no house that will let you have the "experience" without putting in the work.
