My house actually pays more attention to ACT/SAT scores than GPA, so you will be fine. That's the thing: GPA doesn't really mean much any more because A's are so common. What we've found, in fact, is that at some private schools its not uncommon for someone going through recruitment to have a 3.8 or 3.9, but a 23 or 24 ACT. That tells an important story: that A's are pretty easy to get and that their schools just aren't that difficult -- and that they really aren't doing a very good job of educating kids. So when we are looking for someone who can help boost our house GPA, the high SAT/ACT students are golden. I also agree with the person who said you should get as many recs as possible. I also am curious: why did you choose Mizzou?
