I had two great middle tier houses and Sigma on pref day. Even though I wanted to assure myself a bid by listing all three, there's no way that I would've fit in or been happy in Sigma so I just listed the two others. I got my first choice so it worked out for me. I would not recommend listing a house on pref day if you absolutely do not want to be a part of it, even if it guarantees you a bid. It's too risky.
