I disagree. There are so many choices and if you keep an open mind you won't necessarily rank a higher tier house over a lower tier house. For instance, my favorite houses were pi phi, axo, and zeta. I was a little intimidated by pi phi, and feel that my lack of confidence got me cut. I felt much more comfortable in axo and they were in my top 5 all week. The big surprise for me was how much I liked zeta. I knew some actives already that were, for lack of better terms, irresponsible and overly dramatic, which was why I had never considered joining, but I did end up really enjoying my time there. At the end, I suicided axo. Pi phi had just cut me, and I was devastated (now looking back I'm glad because I did feel so uncomfortable in their house). My other choices were aphi and zeta. I couldn't see myself in either of those houses so that's why I suicided.
