I rushed last year as a sophomore and I'm just going to be straight forward with you because that's how it was laid out to me and it made things a lot easier when going thru. First of all, be prepared to explain a lot why you didn't rush freshman year. I think I explained it at least twice in every house haha. Also, as a sophomore the houses are going to look for a good gpa and lots of involvement. Going in as a sophomore they require a lot more of you because they expect that when you got in college you got involved. Also, you will get cut from some houses just because you're a sophomore, don't take it too hard. It could have nothing to do with you but some houses have a limited amount of sophomores they can take (some might take one or two) and they have to make cuts. Go through with a really open mind and a positive attitude. Just know that you probably will get cut from some places for it so don't be thrown off guard, but that just means that wasn't the house for you :) Good luck, girl!
