As much of an optimist as I am, and have to be honest with you. Tri Delta and Chi Omega have a GPA cutoff and they're typically good in grades. The cutoff for highschool will probably be 3.3 or 3.4 so you need to have done at least above average on high school to likely not get cut after open house round. They'll be able to make very very few grade exceptions (probably for a legacy) but luck is going to be the only thing in control of that. If you at least have a 3.0 gpa you have a less of a chance from getting cut from mid tier sororities (excluding kappa, theta adpi). But take a breath and reevaluate. You're already looking to be in a top house and are yet to see them so how would you know you actually want to be a Chi Omega or Tri Delta. You'll be spending 4 years with your future chapter and living with them for a year. Make sure you'll actually fit in and like them instead of aiming to be in a sorority just because they're popular. It's cliche but trust trust the system, and your heart. If a popular sorority is where your heart truly lies and you get a bid, more power to you! You'll see meet a lot of girls who aren't in top houses this year who were top house material, but chose where they loved and felt comfortable instead.
