I feel like people are picking on this girl. Give her a break - she was honest. There are a TON of girls who honestly only want these houses but don't have the nerve to say it. I don't think she is "too good" for the other houses, she just has heard all of the rumors that fly around. Let's face it - MANY girls drop out when these houses are no longer on their list. The OP is just asking a question. Maybe she should drop if these are her dream houses.
