I am currently in a house and when I went through recruitment last year I was the same way. I was nervous and had no idea what to expect but to be honest it is not a bad experience. Every social the Pi Chi and PHA will blow an air horn signaling the start and every house will then do their chant/song and then you will be escorted in and talk to one or more girls throughout the time in each chapter. They will offer you water at the beginning each time and although it doesn't matter if you take it or not you will probably want it anyway because it is usually very hot during recruitment and you are outside for a majority of the day. just be prepared to have a water bottle and umbrella in a purse that you can carry to help stay hydrated and protect you from the sun because there are not a ton of shade spots when waiting and you never know what will happen with Missouri weather. Another thing is that is a good idea to come prepared to answer questions like where are you from/how far is it, what did you do this summer, major, where you are living, do you like your roommate, and what made you want to go Greek because they are pretty common questions. It is also a good idea to come prepared with questions of your own that you want answered. Hope this helps calm you down some. It really is a fun experience so no matter what how you get into just trust the system and be honest with yourself.
