I don't like this whole thing I'm seeing where actives on this site are pitting PNMs against each other. Seeing things like, "going up against 2,000 other girls" or, "competing with all the other girls" is incredibly misleading. You are rushing to find your new home away from home! By that logic, you aren't "competing" against anyone. If anything, you should be making friends. These girls could very well be in your pledge class. YOU ARE NOT COMPETING. You are showing sororities who you are as a person and what is important to you. This is exactly how people find their best fit and houses pick the girls that will fit in well with them accordingly. It seems like people on this site lose sight of this because of the bizarre ranking system. Going away to college is hard, and I know that all I wanted was a group of people I could truly feel were like my family. Would you really want to have to put a ton of effort into pretending you're a certain way when you actually aren't for the sake of being in what the five people who continuously post on here consider a "top house"? No one gets enough sleep for that. Whether you're a freshman or a sophomore, don't be rude or crazy and you will get a bid; and I can personally promise that you will be happy with it as long as you're taking every single thing you see on this site with a grain of salt. Be sweet and be yourself. We can't wait to meet y'all!
