I would say go for it. All the top sororities love girls who can't get enough attention for all the wrong reasons. Nothing says "I have no self esteem and nothing to offer of substance" like self-mutilation. They especially love girls who are able to collect snot on a metal fastener when they blow their nose and will be eager to see you stick your finger far up your nose when you change your stud.
