Tbh. Does it really matter. All private school kids have good GPA's and ACT's. it's expected of them. So out of all the private school kids that rush, it's not really fair to the others who go to public schools and work just as hard. So why should sororities give out all their bids to private school kids? They shouldn't. Don't get mad at them because they take that into consideration. Yes public schools are probably easier, but don't bash on the students and say that they have high GPA's but low ACT scores(note some students aren't good test takers). Another difference is that Private schools don't have as many restrictions as public schools have on what there teachers can teach(Also public schools usually don't teach to standardized test like the ACT). Only public schools in the suburbs of STL and KC or in Columbia (and some other schools like Blair Oaks in JC) can really compare to private schools because most public schools just don''t have the funds to keep up. Same with sports! A lot of the private schools and public schools in rich areas have really good athletes and great coaches. It just depends on where you're located. Also just because you have a high ACT score means absolutely nothing. A kid that has a 21 on his/her ACT can be just as smart as a person who has a 32. To be honest you guys should look at their GPA's and class rank to see how hard they worked, and you should look at how they have developed over the years.
