It depends on the house. When I COBed one house it was like a mini recruitment. They invited me in, sat me down, and I talked to a few girls in rounds. Other houses are more informal and invite only a handful of girls to events. They do a few COB events over a few weeks and give out bids whenever they feel like they've found a good fit no matter if they've met everyone or not. Other times when houses don't need that many girls, they ask their actives to provide names and take the pnm out with just a few actives for like a smoothie or something simple. They may be given bids and introduced to the rest of the chapter once they've accepted. That's more a 1 on 1 case, but you have to remember, that pnm already had strong connections in the house.
