I was on GG last year and it was a blast, but an unbelievable time commitment. It was very strict (re: hairstyles, weight, attendance) and my grades suffered. Please don't let my experience discourage you though. It was an opportunity I will be forever grateful for. It's just that being able to balance GG AND academics AND being a pledge is difficult for some. I've learned that some sororities are more forgiving than others for GGs, cheerleaders, athletes, etc. Last year the sororities with the most GGs were ADPi, GPhi, TriDelt & some in DG.
