I had a rec letter from my mom who was a Chi O at a different university, and four rec letters from my aunts who were ALL Mizzou Chi O alums and I didn't get asked back after the first round. I had five for DG, four for Theta, three for Pi Phi, two for GPhi and one each for: AXO, Kappa, ADPi and DDD. I didn't get asked back to those, either. I (obviously) didn't have recs for SSS, KD, A Phi, Zeta, Phi Mu or SK. I made it into one of the houses that I didn't have a rec letter for (and BTW based off this site didn't get letters for because I thought they were undesirable). I cried really, really hard on bid day because mine wasn't a "Top House". Guess what? It all turned out great-- I LOVE my house, my sisters and wouldn't trade this experience for the world. I was a fool about this site, and my best advice: get letters, but don't sweat it.
