So, i went through rush and on pref day had 2 mid tier, and one unarguably bottom tier house. I preffed the bottom tier house number 1 because it felt right and there was a connection. Long story short on bid day they weren't the house who I got a bid from... I'm happy where I am but... does this happen much?
