No, it will not be hard to get a bid. However, it will be more difficult at some houses. A few that I know of almost require having someone in the chapter pulling for you. I was out of state, didn't know a soul, and had an amazing time at recruitment. But on pref day I was dropped from a couple top houses that I loved. I have since come to realize that those houses got pledge classes that are full of St. Louis/Missouri/Illinois people who had connections in the houses. I ended up in a very well respected and competitive house that I adore, and I have noticed that my pledge class is full of out of state girls. It may not seem like it would make a difference, but being surrounded by girls who are also away from home and didn't know anybody at first is really nice. It gives you something in common with them, and leads to a lot of fun conversations. So what I'm trying to say is if a house drops you because you're not from St. Louis and didn't go to high school with the recruitment chair, it is probably for the best. Being one of the only girls who isn't from Missouri might be awkward. Best of luck!
