As a fellow middle tier house, yes, KD is failing. In the last three years- 1. Their grades are worse in both GPA and ranking between houses 2. They have worse retention and less quality girls pledging 3. They're placing less and less in comps 4. Their philanthropy is shrinking These are all measurable things that prove they are failing. They are just getting worse. I don't see how anyone can argue against this when you can find the numbers on the PHA website. I think the only thing that is up for debate is quality of pledge class but everything else is backed up by numbers. Sorry KD, this isn't SK's doing, it's your own laziness.
