Hazing

Poster Message:
Houses that I personally know girls that have been hazed (and some dropped after): DG, pi phi, chi o, delta, Gphi My friend that is an ex pi phi wouldn't tell me what happened but apparently it was bad and she claimed the hazing problem is one of the reasons pi phi doesn't have a good sisterhood. My cousin is a chi o. They are very secretive on their rituals. She was hazed, but acted like it was no big deal which kind of tells me it was "all in good fun" and not demeaning or abusive. Gphi hazing is mostly being forced to drink. Several years ago it also consisted of more, including swallowing goldfish at SAEs "get tanked" parties Axo in the early 2000s was turned in for hazing and it took them a very long time to recover. Apparently they were a very good house in the 80-90s and when they were caught hazing they were forced to make all their current members go alum, and weren't allowed to formally recruit for a year. They're only now just bouncing back. Same thing with DG. They were a top 3 house, got caught for hazing, and went straight to low mid tier if not bottom tier. I believe they will work their way back up like axo did but ONLY if they quit hazing! It's only a matter of time before another member reports being hazed. The problem isn't a wide spread house thing anymore, but there are still many many members that will haze their new members.
