Delta Gamma has a sordid past. They used to be a top house but they fell from grace about seven years ago because they got caught hazing. After that they had a strong of behavioral infractions with PHA including being removed from Greek Week two years ago among other things. However, this last year they really cleaned up their act. Stayed out of trouble and they're trying to improve their image. DG may not be the most popular on this website but personally the DG's I know are very nice, really sweet and generally great girls. Alpha Phi was a bottom tier house that was a mess. Their nationals actually came in, made all the actives go alum and recruited an entirely new pledge class and started from scratch. After that, the girls they got were prettier and prettier every year. They're known for having good dancers. Both houses are sort of party houses, both are considered middle tier, neither has amazing grades. Of the two, Alpha Phi is more generally liked but all in all, either house is a good choice.
