Hazing, by definition, is any action taken or situation intentionally created to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule. If you truly feel you are being hazed or singled out for ridicule, by all means report it. But I do feel your first obligation is to inform the chapter president and let her know your feelings and that you plan to report it. If it is a case where the person doing the hazing is acting on her own without the knowledge of the sorority itself or its exec board, then that person should be punished, not the whole house. It's up to you and there is no right answer. But while I hate to see hazing going on, if it is done without the sorority's knowledge, then I also would hate to see the sorority pay such a big price for something they knew nothing about.
