I am rushing this fall and I like many others am not sure what to expect so yes i browse this website. I know I'm not in Greek life yet and I'm gonna get a lot of harsh comments probably but I do have a serious question for most of you: Why do you take stuff so seriously? I mean Greek life is just an organization for college students. While yes it does have it's perks that I know of like better grades, a few more friends and philanthropic work, a lot of it seems like high school again and every single one of you really buys into it and takes it really seriously. Aren't we in college to learn and to grow in our future career paths? Why do you all take tiers so seriously? Is the tier you were in gonna matter in 10 years? Why do so many of you care so much about houses that aren't even yours and feel like you have to start rumors on an anonymous website? I have to ask because after browsing this website this summer I am just starting to think Greeks are just high school kids in college again taking something that only lasts 4 years so seriously. Yeah I know you all say it's so much more than just four years but it's really not. You'll take a few friends with you for the rest of your life maybe and have some networking but I have lifelong friends and networking from high school too. I just recommend you guys stop taking Greek life so seriously because as an outsider looking in, you're all pretty pathetic aggressively trying to tear each other down.
