Just don't mention you're a legacy to another house if you're in a different house. So if you're in my house, Sigma Kappa, then don't mention if you're a Sigma legacy or something. It'll make us think you'd rather go Sigma and then it might affect your score. Don't lie about it if you're asked though. If it comes up you can always say something like, "Yeah, my mom had a really great time being Greek here and I can't wait to make some of my own memories wherever I end up." That way you acknowledge your legacy status but make it clear you're choosing your own path.
