Idk about this. Chapters can’t just send out extra bids to fill spots until after formal recruitment has completed and total is determined. The number of bid day bids is determined by PHA’s quota + quota additions. If a chapter has a large pledge class, that means they had a lot of quota additions. Since the system tries to place quota addition pnms in their #1 house, more quota additions would likely mean more girls ranked them first. A large spring COB pledge classes is more of an indicator of girls dropping/graduating. But even then, it’s complicated.
