1. There is very little status to being in any fraternity at Mizzou except Beta. The others are wannabes. 2. Beta emphasizes grades, unlike most other frats. 3. If you think PiPhi, Theta, ChiO etc. have no social status, you don't know what you are talking about. 4. Most fraternities are full of drunk punks who couldn't make the dean's list if they tried. So they resort to doing the thing they know best: partying. 5. Sorority women in top houses are so over that. They date frat guys only if they are the exception to the rule. No one needs some frat bro barfing on their shoes and coming before a woman is satisfied. Even though that's pretty much the norm.
