Subject:
Top Fraternity vs. top sorority definition

Poster Message:
Just an observation I had. When people talk about top fraternities it's usually based on social status, looks, popularity, parties/tailgates, and grades to a much lesser degree. As opposed to what a lot of people say about sororities being top based on grades and being genuine. Why is social status less of a factor? Just wondering why the definitions seem to be so different when people have these discussions on here and in real life. Obviously I know it's apples and oranges, and maybe I'm talking to the wrong people. It just seems like there are 3 top fraternities based on xyz criteria and then sororities are judged on completely different factors. Why is that?
