For the most part the OP is right but there are always exceptions to the rules. My roommate was a freshman in Pre-Nursing with a 4.4 high school GPA, a dancer for five years, tall skinny blonde and was cripplingly shy. She got cut from the entire top tier because she didn't brag on herself and ended up in the middle tier. So yes, sometimes girls slip through the cracks or sometimes a PNM that a top tier house really wants might feel better in a middle/bottom tier house. But the original post is true for the most part and we all know it.
