Let me rephrase this: This is all an algorithm made to maximize success for both chapters and pnms. Chapters that historically underperform during rush and are ranked lower by pnms invite more pnms back each round to maximize their chances of having a full pledge class as more pnms attempt to cut them. Chapters that historically do well in recruitment and are ranked high by pnms invite less pnms back each round because those pnms are not as likely to cut them and they will have no issues getting a full pledge class of girls that want to be there on bid day. This is also good for pnms because it keeps girls from getting their hopes up about a chapter that isn't going to give them a bid. It sounds harsh but this is how it works. It's all a computer program.
